Marisa Messore
MD, FACOG, NCMP, IF

Dr. Marisa (pronounced Ma-Re-Sa) Messore is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Miami/ Jackson Memorial Hospital. At graduation from medical school she received the prestigious Kenneth C. Edelin Prize in Obstetrics and Gynecology for Superior Academic Achievement in Obstetrics and Gynecology and compassion and understanding toward patients. She is board certified in Obstetrics an Gynecology, a Certified Menopause Practitioner with the North American Menopause Society (NCMP), and a Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (IF).

Dr. Messore is the Director of the Center for Women’s Sexual Health and Medicine and has been practicing at Mt. Sinai Medical Center since 1997. Her areas of interest and expertise include Female Sexual Health, Menopause, and Hormone Therapy. She has worked in women’s health care as a practitioner, educator, and advocate for over 20 years.
